If you want to join Indian army after completing graduation then there is only one way to enter in that field which is following

UPSC conduct Combined Defense Service Examination twice a year in two sections that is CDS I is around February of the year and CDS II is around August of the year and remember that there is no relation between both of these exams because recruitment process will be separate for each examination and you will be treated same as others in that batch so do not worry

You are going to get bachelor's degree certificate that is why you are 100% eligible to apply for this examination but remember that your age should not be less than 19 years and more than 24 years to apply and no relaxation in upper age will be provided to any category candidate and only unmarried male candidates will be allowed to enter in this academy

First you will have to appear for written examination that contains three objective type papers based on - English Language, General Knowledge and Elementary Mathematics in that each of these paper contains 100 marks and qualifying in written exam is necessary to be eligible for personality test and interview process

Intelligence and Personality Test : In addition to the interview the candidates will be put to intelligence tests both verbal and non-verbal, designed to assess their basic intelligence. They will also be put to group tests such as group discussions, group planning, outdoor group tasks and asked to give brief lectures on specified subjects. All these tests are intended to judge the mental calibre of a candidate. In broad terms, this is really an assessment of not only his/her intellectual qualities but also his/her social traits and interest in current affairs

You should apply for CDS Examination I that would be conducted in February possibly and if you are preparing then this is my personal suggestion to you that you should take coaching classes somewhere to get more knowledge and expertise to pass this examination

For more details you can visit at www.upsc.gov.in

    All the best
