Data Entry Operator (DEO) exam is conducted by SSC not UPSC.

You can apply for this post through the SSC.

Age Limit: 18-27 years

Age Relaxation as per govt. rules

Educational Qualification:

Candidate should be 12th pass from any recognized board.

Examination: 1. Written Test 2. Skill Test

1 Written Test:
I. General Intelligence
II.English Language
III. Quantitative Aptitude
IV. General Awareness

Total Marks 200

The paper will consist of objective type multiple choice only.
There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

2. Skill Test:

The candidate will have to secure at least minimum qualifying marks in written examination to be eligible for the Skill Test.

The Speed Should be 8000 key depressions per hour on computer.
Only such candidate who qualify in the skill test will be eligible for being recommended for appointment as per their position in the merit list.

But the ssc department is conducting the exam for the job

ssc is conducting every year the common higher secondary level exam

For the post of Data Entry operator and Lower Division clerk post

Here is the Qualifications Required for the SSC CHSL:

>> The Candidate just need to be pass in the 12th exam with passing marks
