Re: Can I apply for UPSC exams after scoring 55% in B.Com and with 1 years of work experience in Accounts?

    Hi dear

You are Eligible for the UPSC Exams irrespective of percentage of marks you have scored in earlier Examination.

UPSC Exams have a minimum academic qualification eligibility which does not depend upon the marks scored by you in your degree examination.

Like in Civil Services Examination the minimum academic Qualification is ''a degree from a recognized University.''
So if you have pass your degree Examination you are definitely eligible.

You should also notice that in each examination there is an eligibility criteria based on Age too; which is relaxed for Applicants belonging to OBC, SC and ST categories.

Now after your B.Com. you are eligible for following Exams:

    #
    Combined Defence Services Examination
    #
    Civil Services Examination
    #
Central Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination

For more details about any of these Exams visit: http://www.upsc.gov.in
