    Can I apply for UPSC IAS exam after completing electrical and electronics engineering?

    hello
    my stream is electrical& electronics engineering can i apply for IAS (UPSC) exam. please tell me about as soon as possible.

    Yes you are eligible to appear for IAS after completing your graduation.
    Required Qualification to appear for Civil Services Exam

    -You should have passed Graduation degree in any specialization from recognized Institute.
    -You are for civil service exam while in graduation final year.
    -UPSC Civil service exam has no restriction on graduation percentage.
    -Your Age should be within the limit of 21 to 30 years.
    -You must be a citizen of India.


    Expected Important dates:
    Last date for online Application: March
    Date of Commencement Exam: May


    Civil Service Examination has three stages

    1st Stage: Preliminary Exam

    2nd Stage: Main Examination

    3rd(Final Stage): Interview

    Ya my friend , you are eligible for the UPSC IAS exam because you done your graduation and every graduate are eligible for the exam .
    But you fulfill the age criteria like
    21-30 for general cast
    21-33 fro obc cast
    21-35 for sc/st cast
    21-40 for physically handicapped.

    So if you fulfill the above criteria then you can give the exam .

    But be care that there are limit for the number of attempts like
    4 for general
    7 for obc
    no limit for the sc/st cast .

    The exam pattern include three rounds .
    Preliminary Exam
    Main Exam
    Interview .

    ****** PRELIMINARY EXAM ***************

    Preliminary exam consist two papers
    1.General Study
    2.Optional subject
    and one should pass this exam for qualifying for the next round .

    *********** MAIN EXAM **************

    There are 9 papers .
    Language mentioned in constitution of india
    English
    => Above two papers are only for qualifying that marks are not considered in final list .

    General Study-2
    Optional subject -1
    Optional subject-1
    Optional subject-2
    Optional Subject -2

    *********** INTERVIEW ***************
    => At last there will be interview .

    => The final merit list will made on the bases of main exam and interview together .

    yes you are eligible.
    you can apply for UPSC CIVIL SERVICE EXAM to be an IAS officer.

    you can also eligible for

    INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICE (IES)
    INDIAN FOREST SERVICE (IFS)
    COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE
    CENTRAL POLICE FORCE EXAM

    AGE LIMIT: 21-30 yrs for gen
    21-33 yrs for obc
    21-35 yrs for sc/st

    Yes sir
    You are eligible for the exam. Upsc required only passed graduate candidate in any stream from the recognized university which is approved by the ugc/aicet. The percentage of the marks or the grade is no matter for the civil service exam. Final year appear candidate also appear in the exam. So don�t worry if you complete your graduation from the approved university then you are eligible for the exam. stream is no matter for the exam.

    IAS:-Indian Administrative Service

    Any graduate to apply for the IAS Exam so you can also apply for the UPSC IAS exam.This exam is conducted by Union public service Commission and this examination is conducted by Every year.If you apply this examination you should be have this eligibility's.

    Hey there...

    Yes you are very much eligible to take the exam since you are a graduate.

    UPSC requires that the applying candidate be a graduate from any recognized university unger the UGC act.
    Age limit: A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, in the year of examination.
    The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable in the follwing cases:

    SC/ST: upto a maximum of five years.
    BC: upto a maximum of three years.
    State of Jammu & Kashmir: upto a maximum of five years.
    Defence Services personnel : upto a maximum of five years

    Yes , you can apply for the UPSC exam after the completion of your Graduation.

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

    -CANDIDATE MUST BEAR INDIAN NATIONALITY
    -CANDIDATE MUST BE GRADUATE FROM THE RECOGNIZED UNIVERSITY.
    -CANDIDATE MUST HAVE FOLLOWING AGE GROUP-
    -GENERAL:21-30 YEARS
    -OBC:21-33 YEARS
    -SC/ST:21-35 YEARS

    yes of course you can.

    after completing your course
    you will become fully eligible to apply for the upsc civil services examination
    as graduation or engineering in any stream is basic eligibility to apply for this examination.
    even as per the eligibility criteria for the civil services examination
    you can apply for this examination while pursuing the final years of your course.

    for this examination you must attain the age of 21 years .
    the age limit to apply for the civil services examination is 21 to 30 years for the general category aspirants .
    and there is an age relaxation of 3 and 5 years for the OBC and the SC/ST category aspirants respectively.

    but my friend be aware of the number of attempts for this examination.
    4 attempts for general category
    7 attempts for OBC category
    no limit for SC/ST category

    Hi friend

    Of course you are eligible for the IAS examinations after completing bachelor of technology in electrical and electronics engineeirng.

    IAS stands for the Indian administrative services

    Eligibility criteria:

    >>Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised university.

    Age limitations:

    The age limitations for the general catgeory is 21to 30 years

    Relaxation of three years to obc and five years to sc/st respectively

    No of attempts:

    General:4

    Obc:7

    There is no limit for the sc/st.



    The examination for IAS post is conducted under civil services which is conducted in three stages:

    >>Preliminary examination

    >>Main examination

    >Personal interview
