ELIGIBILITY FOR IAS EXAM
>>Graduation from recognized university in any stream.
>>your age must lies in between 211-30 years.
>> You must be Indian
>>Age relaxation of 3 & 5 years is given to OBC & SC/ST Candidates.
So you can apply for the IAS exam after graduation in engineering.

You can become IAS officer after B.tech degree.You have to apply online mode of IAS exam on its official website.
Visit www.upsconline.nic.in but this year Last dates is over,You have to wait next year notification.
Exam Eligibility;-
1-You must be passed a graduate degree from a Indian recognized university
2-There is no percentage requirement
3-Appearing in final year candidates are also Eligible.
Age limits;-
General age limits is 21-30 years. Age relaxation is given reserved category students.
Age relaxation;---
3 years age relaxation for OBC category
5 years age relaxation for SC/ST category
10 years for PH candidates
Exam pattern;-
Civil services Preliminary exam consist two papers of General studies having 400 marks.
2 hours are given to each General studies papers.
Civil services Mains exam pattern changed from this year.
Now Any Indian Language papers consist 100 marks as qualifying marks.
English language papers consist 100 marks.
Essay papers marks is same as previous.
Now general studies papers consist 500 marks.
There will be last stage of Interview which consist 275 marks instead of 300 marks.
