    Can I become an IAS after doing B.Tech with ECE trade? If no, what should I do to become an IAS?

    i an doing b.tech with trade EC(electronics and communication) ,can i be an IAS with this trade..???
    and if not then what to do to be an IAS..???

    Yes of course you can become the IAS officer after graduation in engineering.

    ELIGIBILITY FOR IAS EXAM

    >>Graduation from recognized university in any stream.

    >>your age must lies in between 211-30 years.

    >> You must be Indian

    >>Age relaxation of 3 & 5 years is given to OBC & SC/ST Candidates.


    So you can apply for the IAS exam after graduation in engineering.

    yes you can become an ias because the basic educational requirement for it you have done graduation in any stream from recognized university,,,so you can apply for it...

    And you don't need to do any other course for it ....

    yes you can beccome an ias officer after completing you degree of engineering.
    write for civil services exam and crack it to become an ias officer

    Dear,
    The essential qualification for the IAS of CSAT examination is to pass the Bachelor degree in any discipline at any recognized university.     hi,
    You can become IAS officer after B.tech degree.You have to apply online mode of IAS exam on its official website.

    Visit www.upsconline.nic.in but this year Last dates is over,You have to wait next year notification.

    Exam Eligibility;-

    1-You must be passed a graduate degree from a Indian recognized university
    2-There is no percentage requirement
    3-Appearing in final year candidates are also Eligible.
    Age limits;-

    General age limits is 21-30 years. Age relaxation is given reserved category students.

    Age relaxation;---

    3 years age relaxation for OBC category
    5 years age relaxation for SC/ST category
    10 years for PH candidates

    Exam pattern;-

    Civil services Preliminary exam consist two papers of General studies having 400 marks.
    2 hours are given to each General studies papers.
    Civil services Mains exam pattern changed from this year.
    Now Any Indian Language papers consist 100 marks as qualifying marks.
    English language papers consist 100 marks.
    Essay papers marks is same as previous.
    Now general studies papers consist 500 marks.
    There will be last stage of Interview which consist 275 marks instead of 300 marks.

    Important Dates;-

    Preliminary exam ;-26th May 2013

    Mains exam;-1th Dec 2013

    Yes man ... You are 100% eligible to give UPSC examination to become IAS...

    It's not depend upon your trade ... Its just that you are graduated from a recognized university... that's all UPSC needs.
