    Hi there,

IFS officers are recruited through a separate exam conducted by UPSC; which is called Indian Forest Service Examination.

To write IFS Exam you will need A Bachelor's degree with at least one of the subjects namely,
    Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science,
    Botany,
    Chemistry,
    Geology,
    Mathematics,
    Physics,
    Statistics
    Zoology
or a degree in Agriculture or Forestry or Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent.
If you are in your final year of course, you should also note that Candidates appearing at the degree examination (with above subjects) also eligible to compete subject to certain conditions.
You should also take care of the age limit which is 21-30 years.

    good luck...
