Can I become an IPS officer if my height is around 5 feet 5 or 6 inches?

My height is more den 5 feet 5 inches n less den 5 feet 6 inches.. Is my height enough to be an ips officer .? And i come under general merit

Civil services examination is conducted by the Union Public service commission which is the examination conducting of India for the different services like IPS,IFS,IAS etc

IPS stands for the Indian Police services.

The physical requirements for this service is as below:

As from the given details ,you can see that the minimum height required for the general category is 165 cms and your height is 5 feet and six inches that is 66 inches which is equal to 167.64 cms,so you are eligible for this services.

Other than physical requirements ,you need to be a graduate and your age must be between 21-30 years since you belong to general category.You must be an Indian citizen.

The no of attempts for you will be only four.

The date of start of registration for 2013 is 02/02/2013 and will end on 04/03/2013.
