    Can I give UPSC exam after completing Bachelors in Mass Communications and Journalism?

    Can i give UPSC exams after completing graduation in Bachelors of mass comm. and journalism. Please help me out this. Thank you.

    Yes you can give upsc exams after completing graduation in mass communication., since the educational qualification required for most of exams is a graduation in any field from a ugc recognised university/college.If your university or college is ugc recognised then you can apply.

    And the age limits are

    ... Minimum age ;;; 21 years

    Maximum could be ::: 30 years

    Relaxations is applicable for the reserved candidates

    yes you can give the upsc exam being a graduate in mass communication and journalism. As you are the graduate, you fill up the criteria for giving the exam. another requirement for giving the upsc exam is the age criteria. It states that your age should be in between 21-30 years of age if you want to give the upsc paper.

    The educational qualification required for Civil services is Graduation from any stream.You are perfectly eligible as per as qualification is concerned if your degree is from a UGC recognised University.Your age limit should also be less than 21-30years for general category.

    Dear you are 100% eligible to apply for following UPSC exams

    1. UPSC Civil Service Examination

    Must posses a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized institute/university and if you are in final year of your degree then also you are eligible to apply

    Age should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years and relaxation in upper age as per government guidelines which is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates

    This year UPSC civil service notification has been released and application date is over so that you should expect for next civil service examination but start your preparation from now with any good coaching institute

    2. UPSC Combined Defense Service

    Indian Military Academy - Candidate should have passed a bachelor's degree examination or any other equivalent from a recognized university and age should not be less than 19 years and more than 24 years

    Start date for online application - 25-05-2013

    Last date for online application - 24-06-2013

    Date for UPSC CDS Examination - 08-09-2013

    3. UPSC - Central Police Force - Assistant Commandant Examination

    Candidate should hold a bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized board/institute/university and age should be between 20-25 years and relaxation in upper age follows same as mentioned above

    Yes,why not ,after completion of your bachelor's degree in mass communication and journalism ,you are eligible for the following Union Public service commission examinations as the bachelor's degree is minimum qualification for most of UPSC exams:

    The best examination and the most suitable for you will be Civil services examinations:

    >>The age limitations for this exam is :

    General:21-30 years

    Obc:21-33 years

    SC/ST:21-35 years.

    The examination has three stages where first one is the preliminary stage also called civil services aptitude test and the second stage is main examination and the last stage of the civil services is personal interview .

    The no of attempts for the general candidates is four ,for the obc candidates it is seven and the for the SC/ST candidates ,they can attempt all the exams which fall within their age limit.

    The other examinations for which you will be eligible are as follows:

    >>Combined defense services

    ~~The age limit is 19-25 years .

    >>Central Police force exam:

    ~~The age limit is 20-25 years.

    I think you choose great field for Bachelor Degree.

    Yes, You can give UPSC Exam, Because for UPSC Exam minimum education qualification is Graduation in any field from Recognized University.

    Final Year Candidate can also apply from UPSC Exam, but candidate should verify before mains exam if he/she Clears prelims exam.

    >> Age limit is 21-30 years

    General Category: 4 Attempts

    OBC: 7 Attempts

    final year appearing students can also apply.

    age should be 21 to 30 years.

    age relaxation for obc 3 years, for sc/st 5 years.
