    Dear student,
    This all is just rubbish.
The criteria for selection as an IAS is sheer talent.
If you have a graduation degree well approved by the UGC,and your age lies between the age group 21-30yrs,then you can appear for the Civil Service exams, and success can hand u with a post u so desire.
    There isn't any money required.
    So you work very hard.
    you'll surely succeed.

    Hi
don't listen to such words, not at all truth in that words.trust in hard work and faith in yourself.
Becoming ias officer is not a easy thing .dedicate yourself to crack civil service exams.only a graduate from recognized university eligible for civils.so, after completion of graduate apply for civils. Do hard work from now itself ,plan a day with related syllabus in civils.study-eat-sleep-study.maintain this schedule.don't think of other activities and worries .maintain your confident level .be positive all the time. A hard worker can get any thing ,no need to pay anything to anyone
    all the best

I don't know from where you got such information, but thank God, atleast its not happening with UPSC! Yes, there are some State Public Sevice Commission which have dubious records. Rest assure, you can clear UPSC and provided you get high rank depending on your performance/marks you can definitely become an IAS officer without paying a single penny (except for application fees).

    Dear friend

yes, you are eligible for ias exam.
The ias exam is conducted by the upsc and the result is clearly based upon the performance of the candidate. You need not to worry about this thing.

The selection pattern is totally unbiased.

The upsc consider the performance of the candidate not his/her financial background so do not worry and devote your time to your preparation.

the eligibility criteria for ias is given below

only passing marks of graduation is required

age limit is 21 to 30 year

for general age is 21 to 30 year

for sc, st age limit is 35 year

The main exam is consist of optional subjects which are choosen by the candidate.

There are more than 20 subjects that from which a candidate can choose two.

there is no shortcut to become IAS officer. If one could pay money and get it, then the sons and daughters of all politicians should have become IAS. SO dont believe such rumours, Prepare hard that is the only way to success

    Dear friend,

All these are stories far away from reality.UPSC conducts the exam fairly.so dont worry and dont listen to these type of stories just believe in the exam process and start working .

you can see hundreds of candidates are coming with flying colors every year. not all these candidates are rich and not all can afford to pay bribes.there are many examples of candidates belonging to the poor family background have qualified for these exams.

so these are stories to discourage you.dont believe in such stories and start working honestly.no need to pay any bribe.

    all the best

    dear Friend

It is totally rubbish and there is no such provision in UPSC exams.

There is no provision of bribe in UPSC examinations.Whoever has said you this thing just want to misguide you from your aimbition.

you have to clear this examination based on your talent and intelligence.

you can only become IAS officer in your life if you clear the three stages of the civil services examinations and that are :

    >>Preliminary test

    >>Main examination.

    >>Personal interview.

    Basic eligibility criteria for IAS:

    >>You need to complete your graduation in any stream from a recognised university.

    >>Final year candidates are also eligible for exams.

    >>your age should be between 21-30 years.

from the last five to ten years results ,you can see that poor and middle class students get success in UPSC exams.

So,no need to worry about that, just give your 100% ,you will definitely get success.

    For more details visit www.upsc.gov.in

    thanks
