Can i be involved in any other source of income while on a Civil Service Job ?I have a query regarding the above mentioned issue. I am currently preparing for CSE(Civil Service Examination),Exam conducted by UPSC.
After assuming to a post in , lets say IAS, can i have my own business Startup, my own Venture ?

Dear friend your idea to start up business when you will be the successful administrative officer.you are not thinking toward right.a govt.official never start business/agency any kind of income oriented work fvg.sole name it is not legal.
So you can not involved in any other source of income while doing a civil service.

No dear it is not allowed by Indian government that if you are already in civil services under the government then you would not be able to open any type of business or any other sources of Income related to any subject or any matter and if you will start with your name then it would be illegal and your civil services posts would be dismissed by the government and your business also would be seised by the government and your all other governmental services would be immediately terminated by the Indian government so please don't try to open any type of business or any other income resources related to anything and concentrate at your study and get the job in civil services.
