My date of Birth is 31-08-1992 .I have passed 10+2 from non-medical and now doing b.com. can i join air force as pilot.

if you want to become pilot in air foce then you have to apply for CDS exam conducted by UPSC biannualy.
for this you may apply in final year or after final year.
or you may get a direct entry by qualifing AFCAT exam held by airforce biannualy.

As your currently pursuing the Bachelor Degree so I suggest you to complete that degree and after that apply for CDS exam and TES entry for the Pilot in the

Air force...

So now first concentrate on your studies you can appear for the CDS exam in the final year also..

to join INDIAN AIR FORCE there are two examination under upsc.
National Defense Academy and Naval Academy Examination (NDA/NA)
and
Combined Defense Services Examination (CDS)

as per your date of birth you can not apply for the upsc National Defense Academy and Naval Academy Examination (NDA/NA) as you have crossed the upper age limit to apply for this examination.

the age limit to apply for the upsc NDA examination is 16.5 yo 19 years .and you have crossed 19 years .

so to join INDIAN AIR FORCE you have go for the upsc CDS examination.

this exam is held twice a year by upsc .
to apply for this exam you need to be graduate from a recognized university .
(as you want to join Indian Air Force Exam you have to pass Graduation With Physics or Maths)

age limit to join INDIAN AIR FORCE through examination is 19-22 years

OBC and SC/ST category gets an age relaxation of 3 years and 5 years respectively.

Yes definitely you can join Air force as a pilot. You have to apply for CDS Examination.CDS Exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year for the recruitment of candidates in the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Naval Academy (NA), Air Force Academy (AFA), Officers Training Academy (OTA).

The eligibility criteria for CDS Exam are as follows:
Nationality:
The candidate must be Indian.

Age Limit: Male candidates (Unmarried) of age between
(i) For IMA: 19-24 years.
(ii) For Indian Naval Academy: 19-22 years.
(iii) For Air Force Academy: 19-23 years.
(iv) For OTA: Male candidates (married or unmarried) of age between 19-25 years.
(v) For OTA: Unmarried Women of age between 19-24 years.

Educational Qualification:
(i) For I.M.A. and OTA: Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.
(ii) For Indian Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering.

YES YOU CAN APPLY FOR THE PILOT IN THE AIR FORCE.

There are basically three ways to join Indian air force as a pilot.
~CDSE(Common Defense Service Examination)-Through that you need to apply for the AFA-Air Force Academy.
The criteria for applying in the CDSE is graduation from any stream ,but must have physics and maths in 10+2,Age limit-19 to 23 years.

~AFCAT-through which you can enter in to the air force as a pilot,same requirement and the criteria.


~If you have a NCC certificate then you can also join the air force as a pilot but here you need to have minimum 60% in graduation but for AFCAT and CDSE,you do not need to have any minim um percentage.

One way to join Air Force as a pilot with only intermediate as qualification-National Defence Academy.

National Defence Academy criteria
1)10+2 passed with physics and maths in 10+2.
2)Age-16.5 to 19 years-at the time of commencement of course
3)Only male candidates are required


You have completed 10+2 with PCM.
Now persuing B.COM.

No problems with your qualification.But if your age is between 15.5 to 18 years,then you can apply.

As NDA nearly 1 year selection process,hence it is necessary to apply 1 year in advance.
The age must be 16.5 to 19 years-AT THE TIME OF COMMENCEMENT OF THE COURSE.
