You need not wait to complete your MCA degree. Because by your graduation degree you can sit in the upsc exam. The minimum educational qualification is graduation for ias/ips upsc exam.

You can take any subject because there are total 51 Optional Subjects in which 23 are from main subjects and 28 Language Subjects. But if you select Arts subjects you can crack the exam easily. For subjects click here

for UPSC exam you need to complete or appearing in final year of graduation in field. as you completed BCA so you can apply for UPSC exam any time before the final year of MCA also.
according to me you must choose arts subject like Indian History and Geography, because these subjects are easy to understand and easy to crack.

yes,as you know there is no any subject related to computer science so you have to choose another subjects as option subject .

i think mathematics and physics are the best option for a n mca student.

Yes , Graduate candidates are applicable for UPSC Exam.UPSC conduct so many exams but the eligibility criteria of all exams are same .I have listed the eligibility criteria for UPSC exam.UPSC related exams are IAS , IPS ,IES , NDA ,SCRA ETC.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

Candidate should have minimum graduation degree with any discipline from a recognized university.

AGE CRITERIA:

For General category candidate,age should be between 21 to 30 years
For OBC category candidates age should be between 21 to 33 years
For SC/ST category candidates,only minimum age is required i.e 21 years.

NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS:

4 attempts for General category candidates
7 attempts for OBC category candidates
