Eligibility criteria:-

Indian Military Academic age limit is: 19 to 24 Years
For Officer Training Academy age limit: 19 to 25 years
For Navy age limit: 19 to 22 years
Indian air force age limit: 19 to 23 years

The qualification is required for the CDS exam is different-2 is like as:-

For Indian military academy graduation in any stream
For Officer training academy graduation in any stream.
For Indian air force graduation in science stream
For The naval graduation in science stream

Yes why not, you can surely join Indian Army as Officer through UPSC exams.

You can join Indian Army through CDS exam which is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

The exam is known as CDS I & CDS II.

The Notification for the examination is usually released in the months of October and June.

The examinations are conducted in February and November respectively.

ELIGIBILITY FOR CDS EXAM:-

You must have successfully completed your Graduation any stream.

Final year appearing students are also eligible.

Only Unmarried graduates are eligible for the exam.

AGE LIMIT :-

Indian Military Academy	19-24 years
Air Force Academy	19-23 years
Naval Academy	19-22 years
Officers� Training Academy	19-25 years

YOu have to give a written examination which is objective type.

After you qualify in written examination you are called for Interview & then medical fitness test.
