The CDS exam held two times in one year. Under the Cds exam you got the job in different-2 department like as
- Officer Training Academy
- Indian Military Academy
- Air Force
- Navy
You want go with the army. Then you give the preference of the Indian Military academy.
The age limit for the IMA exam Indian Military Academy age limit is: 19 to 24 Years.
Your age 24 years in the Dec 2013, till date you can give the both exam means cds-1 & 2.
There is no age relaxation for the reserve category.
Qualification is required for the IMA exam:-
Candidate must have passed/appear in the graduation in any stream from the recognized university.

The CDS exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.
ELIGIBILITY FOR CDSE
*Candidate must have bachelor degree
**Candidate must be Citizen of India
***Degree must be from recognized university
****Age Limits:
- IMA: Candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1984 and not later than 1st January, 1989
- Naval Academy: Candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1986 (2nd January, 1984 in case of NCC/Naval Wing �C� Certificate holders) and not later than 1st January, 1989
- Air Force Academy: Candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1985 and not later than 1st January, 1989
- Officers Training Academy (Men): Candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1983 and not later than 1st January, 1989
- Officers Training Academy (Women):
- Candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1983 and not later than 1st January, 1989.
- Widows of Defence Personnel who have died in harness, will be granted age-relaxation of four years in the upper age limit, they should have been born not earlier than 2nd January, 1979 and not later than 1st January, 1989.
So from these data you can not apply for the CDSE because you have exceeded the age limit.

UPSc conduct the CDS exam for defence services. It is conducted for following categories:
- INA
- IAF
- IMA
- OTA
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- IMA and OTA: Graduation
- INA and IAF: B.Tech or B.Sc in Physics & Mathematics
Age limit:
you must have attained the lower limit on 1 July and you must not have attained the age of upper limit on that date.
- INA: 19 years to 22 years
- IAF: 19 years to 23 years
- IMA: 19 years to 24 years
- OTA: 19 years to 25 years.
so, in 2013 you can apply for IMA and OTA exams.
In CDS there is no reservation for reserved category candidates.
