* You must have completed graduation in any stream from any recognized college/university.
* candidates in final year of graduation can also apply.
* There is no any specific percentage required in graduation to be eligible.
* The Age Limit :
For General Candidates : 21-30 years
For OBC Candidates : 21-33 years
For SC/ST Candidates : 21-35 years
The Examination is conducted in two phases :
1) Written Examination
2) Interview Test.

for IAS you need graduation degree in any discipline from recognized college or university with any percentage.
for IAS your age must be within 21 years to 30 years on 1 August of the year of exam. There is also available relaxation in upper age limit according to government norms as 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
to become an IAS officer you have to apply for Civil Services exam. The exam is conducted by UPSC.
Civil Services exam is conducted in three phases and you have to clear all the phases to become an IAS officer.
The three phases are CSAT(Prelims), Mains and Interview
there is also applicable limit of number of attempts like 4 for General, 7 for OBC and there is no limit of number of attempts for SC/ST candidates.
