    Dear,
The age limit for the UPSC CSAT examination is within 21-30 years. The upper age limit for OBC is 03 years and 05 years for SC/ST candidates. So, as per your date of birth, you are now 33 years. So you have only two years left for appearing the examination. There is also no attempts for SC/ST candidates. To know more details please visit www.upsc.gov.in Thanks....

    Hello Friend,
UPSC conduct civil service exams every year such as IAS , IPS , IFS , IRS etc.
Graduation is the minimum qualification required to apply for the exam.

There is a specific age required to apply for the exam.
The minimum age is 21 year & the maximum is 30 year required to appear the exam.
The upper age limit is relaxed for certain reserved categories.
    For Sc/ST - 5 yeras
    For OBC - 3 years
For Physical Handicapped - 10 years
The upper age limit is also in favor of defense services personnel.

There is a limited number of time you can attempt UPSC civil service exams.
    For General - 4
    For OBC & Physical Handicapped - 7
For SC/ST - No, limit on number of attempts.

So,you are 33 years old & belongs SC category. There is No number of attempts for SC category candidates but you have to apply for the exam maximum 2 year because After 35 year you are not eligible for UPSC exams.

    Thank You.

Friend, please note that# Candidate who belong to SC category have UNLIMITED ATTEMPTS for the Civil Service Examination.# As per your date of birth, you can apply for the UPSC Examination upto the year 2015. Because after you will crossed the age of 35 years which is the last upper age limit fixed for UPSC Examination.# This year, registration/submission for Civil Service Examination has been over.# So you have atleast two attempts left, that is, in the year 2014 and 2015.# If you did not apply for Civil Service Examination 2013, then don't worry. Just look forward. Go for preparation for next year.

Now your age will reached to 33 years.

Being SC catogory you can apply for only 2 attepmts till the age of 35 years only.

So, you can apply Civil service examinations of 2014 and 2015 years only.

So, better to avail opprutunity successfully because this is final stage to apply.

Re: My date of birth is 22/4/1980. How many more attempts are left for me in UPSC exam under SC category?

According to your stated date of birth in query, you will complete - 33 years, 8 months and 10 days of your age as on 01-01-2013 but if you ask about present then you have completed - 33 years, 2 months and 9 days of your age as on 1st of July 2013 that means you have completed 33 years + age and UPSC board requires age limit and eligibility as on 01-01-Year for most common exams as - Indian Civil Services, Indian Forest Services, Indian Engineering Services etc. so to apply for these exams you have left only 3 attempts for various exams because a SC or ST category candidate can apply for UPSC exams till 35 years of age excluding defense service and AC examination so you have enough chance to get qualified in this examination but only after getting prepared well and better than others for any examination

You should understand the value of this time that is going out of your hands soon so you should decide only one examination that you like most and begin preparation and mainly I would like to suggest you for Indian Civil Service Examination because that has enough chances more than other exams and start working more over the preparation and use this facility provided by the Indian government to become an IAS Officer

You can go to a good coaching institute and if not possible then buy some good books and take help in your preparation according to the official syllabus and that is mentioned in attached notification with all other details as selection process, examination pattern etc.

    All the best
