Hi, there is no difference between NDA 1 and NDA 2.The thing is that UPSC conducts NDA examination in 2 parts at 2 different times in a year.NDA 1 examination is held in April month of year whereas NDA 2 is held in August or September month of year.But procedure for selection in both examination is same.

there is no difference between NDA-I and NDA-II. both the exams are conducted for the posts in Indian Defence. through NDA-I and NDA-II a large number of vacancies are filled in Defence. It is just an NDA exam. It is conducted twice a year because there are large number of vacancies in defence. So to identify this NDA exam is divided in NDA-I and NDA-II. generally NDA-I is conducted in April Month and NDA-II is conducted in August month.
for NDA you need 12th and your age must be within 16.5 years to 19 years.The exam is conducted for only male candidates.

The NDA exam is conducted by the upsc twice in an year.
The exam which is conducted in the former part of the year is known as NDA I whereas the exan\m which is conducted in the latter half of the year is known as NDA II.
As such there is no difference in between them on the basis of difficulty or the number of attempts, you can give it both the time.
You just need to be a 12th class passed/appeared and your age should be in between 16.5-19 years.
There is no relaxation provided to any category.

National Defence Academy (NDA) examination conducted by UPSC every year for recruitment of candidates every year for defence services in Army,Air Force and Naval Services.Generally students who have passed twelfth are giving this examination with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematcis as their subject.
There is no big difference between both the exams.Neither there is difference in the examination pattern,syllabus of the examination nor there is difference in eligibility criteria.Only point is that selection procedure carried by UPSC for NDA are conducted twice in year.First the examination is conducted in the month of April and the other one is conducted in the month of September generally.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy.
