    THERE IS NO PERCENTAGE BAR YOU ONLY NEED TO HAVE A
    GRADUATION DEGREE..


    upsc exams are based on some qualifications,


    AGE LIMITS...

    GENERAL>>>21 to 30 yrs
    OBC>>>21 to 33 yrs
    SC/ST>>>21 to 35 yrs



    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION...

    A passed graduation degree from any RECOGNIZED UNIVERSITY.....

    The criteria for appearing in IAS Exam is :
    1. Nationality : Indian
    2. Academic qualification : Graduate in any stream from any recognized university.
    3. Age limits : 21-30 (OPEN), 21-33 (OBC), 21-35(sc/st).

    No such percentage criteria is given for applying for Civil Services Exam.

    and there is no requirement for percentages you just need passing marks .

    Hello Dear

    Eligibility Criteria is

    should be graduate from a recognized university in any stream.

    There is NO limit Of marks in qualifying examination


    age should be 21 to 30 years
    age relaxation for OBC candidate 3 years
    age relaxation for SC/ST candidate 5 years

    nationality- Indian

    number of attempts-

    general candidate have 4 attampts
    OBC- 7 attempts
    SC/ST- no limit

    Dear Friend

    For IAS officer you would be crack Civil Services Exam conducted by UPSC every year.

    Eligibility for Civil Service Exam:

    Age Limitation:

    For General category 21-30 years
    For OBC Category 21-33 years
    For SC/ST Category 21-33 years


    Educational Qualification:

    Candidate must be Graduate any stream from any recognized university.

    Numbers of Attempts

    For General category 4
    For OBC category 7
    For SC/ST category No Limits


    Therefore if you have graduate degree then you can apply for IAS.
    Because there is
    no percentage required for this exam.
    So you can apply without hesitation.

    Eligibility Criteria is following for IAS exam 2013 :

    Candidate must have a bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university or any other equivalent qualification and those who are appearing for final year examination or awaiting for result may also apply for this exam.

    Candidate must be between 21-30 years in age and for SC/ST this age limit increases to 35 years and for OBC it is increases to 33 years and 10 years for PWDs and 5 years for Ex-Servicemen

    If you have above mentioned qualification then you can apply for this exam easily but to crack this exam is not so easy means you will have to prepare hard for this exam and give your much and much time for study and concentrate at your study then you will get some chances to pass in this exam.

    Civil Service exam conduct every year by UPSC for becoming an IAS .

    Exam pattern of IAS Exam:

    Educational Qualification:

    You must hold any degree in any discipline from any recongnized university
    Final year degree students who will obtain degree by August 1, 2013 are also eligible for CSAT 2013
    The degree can be of any class (distinction, first, second etc.)
    Degree obtained by distance education/open university is also eligible if the university is a recognized university

    Age criteria:-
    The age limits are 21 years to 30 years.
    3 years upper age relaxation for OBC candidates,
    5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

    Number of Attempts:
    For some candidates there is a limit on the number of times you can attempt IAS Exams (Civil Services exams)
    Even attending to one paper of CSAT (IAS prelim exam) counts as an attempt
    Applying for CSAT (IAS prelim exam) but not attending for any paper DOES NOT count as an attempt
    General Category - 4 times
    OBC - 7 times
    Physically Handicapped - 7 times

    Nationality:
    Only Indian nationals are eligible for IAS and IPS.
    For other services a candidate can be either of the following:
    a citizen of India,
    a subject of Nepal,
    a subject of Bhutan,

    Tibetan refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in india,
    a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Burma, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Vietnam, Zaire or Zambia with the intention of permanently settling in India.

    Selection process:-

    Civil services preliminary examination,
    Civil services main exam,
    Personal interview.

    Hello Friend,
    IAS exam is simply known as Indian Administrative service exam conducted by UPSC every year.
    Eligibility criteria for IAS exam:
    1.Educational Qualification - The candidate who complete the bachelor degree in any dicipline from any recognized University apply for the exam.
    The final year degree course students are also apply for the exam.
    2.Age:
    For General - Minimum 21 year & maximum 30 year on 1st august of the year of examination.
    Upper age limit relaxed by:
    3 year for OBC , 5 year for SC/ST.
    10 year for Blind ,deaf,mute,or orthopedically handicapped.
    5 year for jammu & kashmir domiciles.
    3 year special cases of defence service personnel & 5 year special cases Ex service man who have rendered at least 5 year in military service .
    Other ligibility:
    The candidate should be a citizen of India.

    I.A.S --- INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES


    There is no Percentage Criteria for the IAS exam

    The minimum qualification must be GRADUATION

    The minimum age must be 21 years

    Maximum age is allowed up to 30 years

    Of course there will be an Age relaxation for the Reserved candidates ..


    You must be Physically fit
