Dear if you are thinking about to choose the combination of Zoology and Anthropology then you have decided good combination for your mains exam and you would have to qualify 4 papers for these two subjects in your mains exam and one paper would be for any Indian language selected from the list, one paper for English Language, one for essay and two papers for general studies and the total marks for mains exam are 2000 and qualifying in each and every paper is necessary for the candidates.
If you think about the selected subjects that they are tough to prepare for your IAS mains exam and not easy to crack so dear if you will not study about that particular subject so that it would be really tough for you and if you are continue on your study and practicing well each day so no once fail you in the exam.
All the best
dear friend,
it is just a myth that choosing Anthropology and Zoology as optionals for IAS is hard to crack the exam. If you are well prepared for the subjects then you can definitely crack the exam.
IAS stands for Indian Administration Services. It is a post which you can get through Civil Services exam that is conducted by UPSC.
In Civil Services exam a large number of candidates appear and only less number of are selected. So there is large competition for exam. And Exam is also not an easy. So you choose any of subjects, no one is easy. if you have prepared then you can crack the exam.
Good Luck.......
