1. degree of a recognized university or equivalent

IMA means Indian military academic: - for this exam candidate must have graduate in any stream from the approved university.
Indian Maltery Academic age limit is: 19 to 24 Years.
There are three paper held in a one day
- General knowledge
- General English
- Mathematics
All the exam held in one day and need 40% marks for qualify the exam.
With the ima exam the three other department paper held under the cds exam
- Officer training academy
- Air force
- Navy

IMA : Stands for the Indian Military Academy
For which you have to write the common defence services exam
And the exam is conducted by the upsc department twice in a year
And the IMA Department is coming under the cds exam
The exam have two stages and you have to clear both
The stages if you want to join the IMA
First stage is the written test of objective type
And the other is the ssb of 5 days and the most difficult task
I can say because you have to work very much hard for the ssb
As most of the or almost all students failed in the ssb

as per the eligibility criteria for the CDS examination,
as you are willing to appear for IMA,
you need to have a graduation or engineering degree in any subjects
from a recognized university approved by UGC.
secondly,
the age limit to apply for the CDS examination for IMA is 21-24 years
and there is an age relaxation of 3 years for the OBC aspirants and
for the sc/st category aspirants the age relaxation is of 5 years .
there is no percentage bar to appear in this examination
so you are still eligible for this examination even with 49.7 percent marks.
