Sorry friend you cannot apply for IES examination at age of 18 years because you are underage according to norms of IES examination.

The eligibility criteria for age is that candidate should be 21-30 years old if he/she is a General candidate.

So, you cannot apply for IES unless you turn 21 years old.

general- 21 to 30 years
obc- 21 to 33 years
sc/st- 21 to 35 years
pd- 21 to 40 years
since you do not fulfill the above criteria therefore you cannot apply for ies examination this year.

First of all to appear for IES you need an engineering degree completed from a recognised university.

So you can't apply for IES exam till you reach 21 years of age.

I am sorry to say but you cannot apply for the IES examination at the age of 18. For giving the IEs examination, you need to be minimum of 21 years of age, then only you will be eligible.
For giving the exam, you need to fulfill the criteria which states that you should be a graduate in the mechanical/electrical/ECE/civil engineering stream and your age should be in between 21-30 years.
A relaxation of 3 and 5 years is given to the obc and the sc/st category respectively.
