comes under UPSC SSC ( Staff Selection Commission ) Exam.


Eligibility Criteria :

Graduation with minimum 55 % from recognized college or university.
age: 20years to 25 years.

To become a CBI officer, you have to appear the CGL(Combined Graduate Level) examination which is conducted by SSC (Staff Selection Commission). After clearing the SSC's CGL examination, you can be a S.I. in CBI at the time of joining. The qualification is to pass the Bachelors degree in any stream at any recognized University. The age limit is within 21-25years. The upper age limit for OBC is 3years,for SC/ST is 5years. You can also appear the UPSC's CSAT examination and choose the career as an IPS officer,so that you may be come under the CBI department. The age limit for it is 21-30years. Sorry to say that as a b,e 1st year student

You can't apply for the exam

Because for the exam you have to write the ssc common graduate level exam

Here is the criteria for the exam:

The candidate should be pass in graduation from a recognized indian university

And your age should be between 18-27

And as you said that you are a b.e student

So as you can see for the exam you need to be pass in graduation

So better would be to pass in graduation first

Then you can apply for the exam

the graduate candidates are eligible for applying CBI. so you are not eligible for applying CBI because of present you are studying B.E. CBI stands for Central Bureau Investigation Department. It is conducted by UPSC in the every year. CBI comes under IB(Intelligence Bureau).Not only CBI but also CID(Criminal Investigation Department) and RAW(Research and Analysis Wing) are come under IB.
Qualifications:
1.You must completed degree with 60%
2.You must have 165 Cm height
3.Your age must be in between 21 to 30 years

Selection process:
1.Written exam
2.Technical round
3.Physical and Medical tests
4.Personal Interview

How to apply:
You can apply through post as
1.Buy an application form and fill it.
2.Then add your certificates to the application form
4.And then post it.
