    This exam conduct on UPSC exam, candidates must complete any one bachelor degree
    Age between on 21--30
    Candidates must on indian citizen

    There is no option to become the forest officer after the 12th qualification because the minimum requirement to apply for the same is bachelor degree in animal husbandry , veterinary science botany, chemistry,mathematics ,physics, statistics and zoology or a bachelor degree in agriculture, or forestry or engineering of a recognised university or a equivalent.
    Written examination for the same is likethis
    There will be the paper conventional type essay type part 1 general english 300 marks.
    Part 2 general knowledge 300 marks .
    Paper 3 ,4 5 and 6 any two subjects to be selected from the list of optional subjects set out below.
    Each subjects will have two papers 200 marks for every paper and the tortal marks will be 1400 marks.
    There are some list of optional subjects-
    Agriculture / agriculture engineering /animal husbandry and veterinary science , botany, chemistry, chemical engineering ,civil engineering // forestry, geology, mathematics,mechanical engineering, physics, statistics, zoology.
    Interview for the personality test will eb there of 300 marks.

    dear aspirant,

    i am extremely sorry to say that on the basis of your intermediate qualification you are not able to write IFS exam.
    Acronym IFS is Indian Forest Services. the exam is conducted by UPSC every year.

    for IFS you must have completed or appearing in final year of graduation degree with at least one of the subjects namely
    Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science,
    Botany,
    Chemistry,
    Geology,
    Mathematics,
    Physics,
    Statistics
    and Zoology
    or a Bachelor�s degree in Agriculture,
    Forestry
    or in Engineering


    for IFS exam your age should be within 21 years to 30 years on 1 August of the year of the exam. there is also relaxation in age upto 3 years for OBC and 5 Years for SC/ST candidates.

    Select any subject regarding the following fields,
    B.Sc Botany,Zoology, chemistry, physics,maths, animal husbandry and veterinary science, any Bachelor degree of Engineering in any government recognized university....
    Age Limit: 21-30 for OC, 21-33 for MBC,21-35 for SC/ST...

    • No, you can't become Indian forest services (IFS) officer on the basis of the intermediate qualification.
    • To be eligibile for IFS, you must have the bachelor degree with having any of the subjects like Animal Husbandry &Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology.
    • OR you need to have Bachelor��s degree in Agriculture or Forestry or Engineering from recognised university.
    • The age of your's need to be in between 21 years to 30 years.
    • The upper age relaxations is provided to reserved category.
