to become income tax officer you must write STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION (SSC) exam.
this post comes under SSC - COMBINED GRADUATE LEVEL (CGL) exam
qualification: bachelor degree of any stream.

Iam qualified in multi taksing exam held on 27feb but still i didnt gey my interview letter. Wil they send the interview letter through email or communicated address? As we shifted to another place so how can i get my interview letter?

UPSC does not conduct the exam for the post of Income Tax Officer. It is
SSC(Staff Selection Commission) which conduct the exam for Income tax Officer.

Eligibility Criteria:
1. Need Bachelors of degree in any stream from recognized college or university.
2. your age must be within 18 years to 27 years. There is relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category candidate: 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/St.
