You have to take that types of papers in which you have good command. If you do not have good command then you cannot write the upsc examination in your own way and you cannot crack the exam. If you have good command in the Punjabi Literature then you can take this subject in your upsc mains exam as the language papers. In this paper you have to face the subjective questions from Comprehension from the passage, Precis Writing, Usage and Vocabulary of the words, Short essay of the given topics, Translation. If you have such types of good knowledge of the words or essay or paragraph writing in the Language subjects then you can take the Punjabi Literature as the subject.
