If you apply Offline,you purchase the application kit from the your regional head branch post office.
# The price of the application form ranges from a Rs 20 To Rs 30 /-
# Along with the form,you will also get the brochure,which will direct you properly to apply.Read it well.
# Fill in the form and post it on the desired address after pasting the CRF stamp.
When applying Offline,you will have to follow certain regulations.
# The registration is completed in two parts.
# While in PART-I,you have to mention the basic information about yourself that you will definitely be knowing.
# Once you submit,the PART-I,you will have to make the payment.
# Use the Challan method or pay through Online Banking.
# Keep the Transaction ID secure.
# Use it to fill the PART-II registration.You also have to submit your scanned Photograph and Signature there !

first of all you have to fill the application form online only because there is no any other mode of application is accepted

here are the instruction to fill the online form correctly.

1. first you should go to the website :-http://www.upsconline.nic.in

2. than you should click on part one registration of the civil services examination

3. fill the basic details of yourself like name father name, qualification, and submit it.

4. take a printout of chalan copy and go to the bank.

5. give the money required to the banker and take the transaction no. on the copy of chalan.

6. open the part 2 registration and provide your registration no. and transaction no written on the copy of chalan.

7. upload your photograph and signature and submit it.

8. check your e-mail, an e-mail will sent you after filling the application form successfully.

Hi Aspirant,

It is quite easy to fill the application form for UPSC exam.

Now UPSC form can be applied online and offline both.


Online mode

To apply for Online application open http://upsconline.nic.in

Here now select the particular exam form

Now you will complete entire process in two parts

In first part you will fill all the basic details as follows

Name

Father name

Permanent address

Current address

Qualification

Caste

Sub category

Nationality

Age

DOB

Etc

After filling up all the details you will submit the form.

Now you will get a link of challan form

Download the challan form and submit in SBI bank with appropriate detail and application fee.

Now you will get the transaction receipt.

No complete the second part, fill the payment details, paste your photo and signature and submit the form.

In such way you registration has completed.


Offline mode

You will purchase application form from head post office.

Fill all the basic details, stick your photo and CRF stamp of requisite application fee and send to the prescribed address.
