Hello friend,

The total number of posts to be filled depends on number of vacancies in that year. So, it is not a fixed number. But, it is seen for the past 4-5 yrs that with each year, the number of vacancies are rising.

From notification of 2012 prelims:
"The number of vacancies to be filled on the result of the examination is expected to be approximately 1037. The number of vacancies may undergo change".
