    dear friend,

According to me 10-12/day hours are enough to crack UPSC exams. And you should concentrate on quality study rather than quantity of study.

    3. Study good material related to subjects.
    4. Read newspapers and magazines.

Dear aspirant your query about time you should spend to crack UPSC ie UPSC civil services. As you know civil services exam is the toughest one so you are to spend 3oo days or 3000 hours to do preparation for the UPSC exam.Though there are few examples who have cleared CSE within the shorter time preparation.

Re: How much time should I spend/day to crack UPSC exam?

You should follow these following guidelines to get qualified in UPSC Civil Service Exams :

    >> If you wish to prepare for this exam yourself then you can not because if you are going to achieve any huge target then you need to have a guide who could tell you the exact way which go to the success

    >> you should join any coaching institute before taking everything in your hands because you alone are not enough to crack the civil services exams so that for support you should go to coaching institute

    >> You should find out the best one coaching which could teach you well and be regular in the coaching institute

    >> You should follow your teachers what they teach means you should not make your strategy in their teachings means you have to follow them only

    >> Coaching institutes gives you at least 8 hours or less but you also have to care for your study and give at least 6-8 hours from your side so the total time of preparation would be about 15 hours everyday with coaching and this time is enough if you are serious and studying concentratively

    >> You should take some practice sets of various relevant subject and try to solve your query in the coaching institute and don't bring your hesitation to your home

    >> Avoid everything which is not suitable for your study means you should only think about your study

    >> Try to make a competitive environment in the coaching institute and ask something more about any particular topic and collect more and more knowledge

    All the best
