dear friend,
UPSC prelims exam is mixture of conceptual based and Factual based. UPSC civil Services Prelims exam has two papers which comes from general studies and logical and reasoning type. Both the papers are of objective type. Now it is also called CSAT(Civil Services Aptitude Test).
Good Luck.........
2012 general studies was more conceptual, testing the basic understanding of the candidates.
Dear,
The UPSC always set the question papers for CSAT as both mixing of Conceptual and factual based. The two papers of CSAT, i.e., General Study and English comprehension & logical aptitude are objective multiple choice questions in the standard of the Graduation level. So first understand the syllabus properly and then prepare for the best. To know more please visit www.upsc.gov.in Thanks....
