Friend UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) didn�t declare the result date of preliminary exam was held on 20 may 2012.

So you will have to wait of result declaration.

Generally UPSC takes the time of 2 or 3 months in the declaration of result.

You should keep regular visit to UPSC website www.upsc.gov.in

the result of the preliminary exam of the civil service exam is announced the month of the august.

every entrance exam of the upsc which is taken for different-2 post in the different-2 department. the result is announced after two month took the test.

upsc take 2-3 month for declare result , upsc declare result of prelims soon its all on upsc so prediction is not work and may be date chance due to some resion .

The main exam will be taken in the month of October / November so the result will be declared in the month of August .
You have to check the upsc site for continuous news related to result .
But instead of waiting for the result , you have to prepare for the main exam rightnow , because if you waiting for the result till august then after august you have only one month for preparation and it is not enough for you .
So just starting the preparation for the main exam rightnow .
The exam pattern is below :
Main exam consists 9 descriptive type paper

4-general study
5-general study
6-optional subject-1
