CDS Stands for Combined Defense Service that is a central defense service of India covers following sections of defense service in this sector
IMA - Indian Military Academy : Indian Army/Military is under this section and if you wants to apply for this field examination then you should posses a degree in any discipline from a recognized university and your age should not be more than 24 years
INA - Indian Naval Academy : Indian Naval Forces are under this field. All aspirants who wants to prefer INA section under CDS examination should have passed bachelor's degree in Engineering in any branch and maximum age limit to apply for this section is 22 years
IAFA - Indian Air Force Academy : Air Forces of India are under AFA section. You should be passed bachelor's degree examination of a recognized university with mathematics and physics as mandatory subjects at graduate level or posses a degree in Engineering to be eligible for this section test
OTA - Officers Training Academy : Selected candidates who prefers OTA are not posted to serve like IMA, INA and AFA but mostly get the job under official category and any graduate candidate can apply whose age is not more than 25 years
Minimum age required for this examination is only 19 years and all candidates who are pursuing final year of degree may also apply for this exam

All questions will be asked in objective type pattern and you have to pass this examination before appearing interview under SSB Board and pass marks of exam will be declared of including all subjects mentioned above according to the preference so you have to cover over each paper to score good marks
Physical and Medical Standards Test : This process is most essential in defense service examination so all candidates are requested to keep themselves fit, active and according to the required physical and medical standards so they will not have any problem while being tested for Physical and Medical Standards
