    How should I prepare for IES being from a poor family?

    my respected sir,
    i belong to poor family and i am doing my b.tech in mechanical. i want to crack ies with good score and rank, because i want to create a good image for my parents in society and i have to achieve it at any cost .
    so , sir please give me some ideas , tips , suggestion for preparing for ies with out any coaching center

    Friend no problem if you belong to poor family. You can do the preparation of IES exam.

    Here I will give all the appropriate information about IES exam.

    First of all I would like to suggest you that after completion of B. Tech degree you should search for a job, improve your financial condition.

    After that you can start the preparation for IES exam.

    IES exam is organized by the UPSC for the post of chief executive engineer and you can make your bright future here.

    To apply for IES exam you should satisfy the eligibility criteria of IES exam.

    You should have technical degree in any branch of engineering from recognized college or university.

    Candidates in final year of engineering can also apply for IES exam.

    You can apply for IES exam from Civil , Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics and telecommunication.

    You should be in age of 21 to 30 years.

    Age relaxation

    SC/ST + 5 years

    OBC + 3 years

    PH + 10 years

    You must be the citizen of India.


    You can apply for the civil Service exam through online and offline application form.

    You can complete online registration process at UPSC official website

    For the Offline application form you can purchase application form from head post office.

    Fill all the details in application form and send to the prescribed address.

    Payment mode: Net banking, Debit card, Credit card, SBI Challan form and CRF ( Central Recruitment Fee) stamp.
