How can I prepare myself for UPSC IES exam?

    Sir,
I am a final year Engineering student. I recently applied for the UPSC exam which is to be held in the month of June. Since my hectic final year college schedule is making me unable to attend any specialized coaching centers in far away places. also there aren't any coaching centres nearby. Kindly instruct me how i can prepare myself for the exam without any such specialised help...
    Kindly reply to [email protected].
    thank you.

Dear, at first concentrate on your final year Exam. and then prepare for UPSC IES exam. because its hard for any one to concentrate on both. But if you fail in UPSC you will got another chance which is negligible of any loss but, if get poor marks or getting fail in the final year it is a loss of Precious Time which has no substitute. So, go for Final Year Exam first. While the Age limit for IES exam is 21 to 30 yrs. and if you belongs to SC/ST you got 5 years Relaxation and if you belongs to OBC you got 3years relaxation......Good Luck...

    Hi friend,

Well mine friend, as you may see that without coachings and proper Guidance , you cant make to IES 2nd round.

Well, it's because of all those guys who drop for this examination,,, And they keep preparing until their age expires..

AT the same time you are a fresher with hectic schedule.

Well, i can understand that in final semester you have projects and then all those CDCs ,etc

So, better join some online Coaching centers or some correspondence course,,,

They will just give you some nice content which may help you too much.

For example : http://onlineies.blogspot.in/ <<<------- This website may help you.

At any cost you are going to study 5 to 6 hours daily, then only you have even some chances to stand.

If you score above 50% then you have chances to get selected for 2nd round

you may get online tutorials and online tests for that purpose.

    Best of Luck!!

    Hope it helps!!
