I actually don't belong to OBC category but mistakenly/unknowingly took the advantage of category reservation in UPSC CS Exam. Can I change my category to general in the next attempt?

hello,i belong to obc category in karnataka but my caste is not in central obc list which i came to know just recently. in my previous attempt i took advantage of category,can i change my catrgory to gerneral in next attempt?

Dear friend if u took advantage of category in this attempt..But now u know that ur not from this category then its ok u can fil form from general catdgory in the next attempt it doesnt matter.

Now you are privileged employee of cs having the category of general you have joined in cs service producing obc category.

Again you have expressed to join in gen.category from obc.remember if you expose you were gen.candidate and joined in civil service producing obc fake caste certificate then your present civil service is liable to terminate legally.

There is a systematic way /legal process through which you and any family of other castes other then genral category can switch over to general category even by way of changing their title also through a order of competent court.(we know it as affidavit).
