Dear,

The age limit for the exam is the 21 to 30 years. If you one day is over the 30 year then you are not eligible for the exam (for unreserved/general category).


If you belong to reserve category then you has the age relaxation.


For sc/st category the age limit 21 to 35 year and the attempt of the exam no limit till the 35 years age.


For the obc category age relaxation 3 years the age limit is 21 to 33 years and the attempt of the exam 7 times.

Dear Friend,

Exactly 30 Years means you have completed 30 Years of age.
So you are not eligible to apply for CSAT in the next year.
Maximum age limit to apply for Civil Services exam is 30 Years for General Category Candidate.
If you belong to Reserved Category than you are eligible for age relaxation as per the guidelines of UPSC.
so if you have your necessary caste certificate and document for reserved category than you are eligible.

Dear, If you belongs to General Caste than Sorry to say that you are not eligible but if you belongs to:-
1. OBC then you can apply up to 33 yrs.
2. SC/ST - then you can apply up to 35 yrs.
3. General caste and Handicapped- then you can apply up to 40 yrs.
4. OBC and handicapped - then you can apply up to 43 yrs.
5. SC/ST and handicapped - then you can apply up to 45 yrs.

The Applicant must be pass in the graduation

From a recognized Indian university or should

Be pass in any equivalent course

Your age must be between 21-30

Age Relaxation:

# The age relaxation given to ph 10 years

# The age relaxation given to the obc 3 years

# The age relaxation given to the sc,st 5 years

Number of Attempts :

For the general : 04

For the SC,ST :Unlimited

For the OBC : 07
