Hi Aspirant
Sorry to say that you are not eligible for the exam
As you are 1st year student of the graduation and for the
exam the minimum educational qualification required is that the candidate must be a graduate
And as you are a 1st year student of b.tech so first
You have to complete it than you can apply for the exam
And no don't go for the exam with out any preparation as it
is not like a board exam or a university exam as you can clear it
with out a good preparation so better would be to prepare for the exam
Fully and than only can give the exam
Attempts :
General :4
OBC :7
SC,ST :No limit
Citizen :
-India
Educational Qualification :
-the person must be a degree holder from a recognized university
-or the person must be pass in any equivalent degree
Age :
-The age limit for the exam is 21 to 30
-Also age limit for the obc 21 to 33
-And age limit for the sc,st 21 to 35
Best of luck
No dear,After completition of your B.Tech graduation only you may apply for UPSC civil services because there is condition to apply is must complete or being final year of Graduation only eligible to apply.Minimum age required is 21 years so,below of this not eligible to apply.
If you try to apply and write the examination without preparation you may loss one oppurtunity.
Because UPSC limited no.attempts like:
General-04.OBC-07 and SC/ST-unlimited.
So,prepapre for B.Tech degree as well as for Preliminary examination of civil services. You have a lot of time but do not waste time....
dear friend,
first of all i tell you that you are not eligible to write for upsc civil services examination right now.
Because the minimum educational qualification requirement for civil services examination is
graduation from a govt recognized university.
And the other thing is that you should not to give the examination without preparation and just for know the pattern ,
because there is a restriction of no of attempts, that means you can not give the examination as many times as you want , there are a fixed no of attempts for all the categories:-
no of attempts:-
for general category:- 4 attempts
for obc category:- 7 attempts
for sc/st category:- no restriction.
So when you think that you are fully prepared for the examination only than you should apply for the same because a chance of giving the examination can change your life and you have not to west it.
So,
i advise you to first complete your graduation and than prepare for the same and after preparation you can think about it.
Thank you !!!
Hello,
No you're not eligible to give UPSC CSE exam. Since only students with degree or appearing in final year can give CSE.
If you want to give the exam your educational qualification should fall in any of these :
The candidate must hold any degree in any discipline from any recongnized university
Final year degree students who will obtain degree by August 1, 2013 are also eligible.
The degree can be of any class (distinction, first, second etc.)
Degree obtained by distance education/open university is also eligible if the university is a recognized university
Regards....
No you cannot appear in the UPSC Civil services Exams being in the 1st year B.Tech(ECE).
You can appear in the UPSC Civil Services Exams(CSE) after your Graduation from a recognised University.
