History is one of the best and popular subject which is taken by the candidate in the civil service exam.
you also took the history as a one optional subject.
according to me the other optional subject is the public administration or the sociology. both of the subject also popular in the civil service exam.

history and geography are the two subjects which are taken by UPSC aspirants. these two subjects are easy to grasp and also these both subjects are scoring for UPSC exams.
so i recommend you to take History and Geography as optional subjects.

if you have a good command over it school and if you have interest in it then it is a good subject for you
you can choose any arts subject of your choise as
these arts subjects are good scoring subject
but this will not be enough you have to be strong in GK
you should be connected with current affairs
you should read the national news paper regularly
