For any other exam too, it is the Matriculation Certificate that is to be used as a proof for date of birth !!

Hence feel free to use it.

With proper proof to show,get to the municipality office to get it renewed and this time get your name printed over it.

Friend it is big mistake.

You should correction on your birth certificate from eligible authority.

Your DOB can be considered from your High School Mark sheet.

So don�t worry friend you can apply for GPSC and UPSC exam.

You would not get any problem regarding birth certificate.
