Whether Voccational Higher Secondary Certificate is valid for appearing in UPSC, SSC and Banks exams?

    Dear sir,

My son is studying for Vocational Higher Secondary Education course (2 years course) of Government of Kerala after 10th Standard. This cetificate is adopted by Kerala Public Service Commission as equivalent to 2 for the post of clerks. Can he apply for the post of clerks in UPSC, SSC and Banks. Have they adopted this certificate as equivalent to plus two.

    Sir,
For appearing the UPSC,SSC and bank exams of intermediate level,,the minimum educational qualification is to pass +2 (intermediate) or equivalent from a recognized board.
As your son is a student of +2 equivalent, and that too from a Kerela recognized board,as you have mentioned,he is surely eligible to apply for all these exams.

    Good luck .

It is equivalent to intermediate or the ones required for the eligibility for the upsc, ssc and bank exams. So I guess your son can definitely apply for the bank clerical exams in the future. But for upsc and ssc he must be a graduate to appear for the exams.Good Luck!
