    I got pass class in MA (Economics). Am I eligible for UPSC Indian Economic Services exam or not?

    queries regarding Indian Economic Service Exam
    I got pass class in my MA (economics) so please tell me whether I am eligible for Indian Economic Service Exam (IES) which is conducted by UPSC?

    hey friend,
    if you have done your MA with economics .
    Then that means not that your are eligible for every economical jobs.
    That means that you have a knowlegde about the economic.
    So you understand that your are eligible for somekind of economic jobs not for all.

    Hey

    Yes you can apply for the Indian Economic Services after completing M.A in economics.

    ELIGIBILITY FOR IES/ISS

    >>You must have post graduate degree in Economics/applied economics/Business economics.
    >>Your age must be lies in between 21-30 years.
    >>Relaxation is given to the reserved category candidates.
    >>You must be Indian

    So you are eligible for the IES/ISS exam.

    Indian Economics services exam is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission)

    Exam Eligibility;-

    >>You should be Indian citizen.

    >>You should have a Post-Graduate degree from a recognized university in any of the following subjects:

    Economics

    Applied Economics

    Business Economics

    Econometric

    >>The age of the general candidates should be 21-30 year.

    >>For SC/ST candidates the age is relaxed by 5 years and for OBC candidates by 3 years.

    >>You should be physically fit.

    Exam Pattern;-

    Written Exam

    Interview

    Syllabus:

    General English

    General Studies

    General Economics

    Indian Economics
