    Hello Friend,

Civil Services exam is of very general nature and dies not require specialization in any stream. So, your specialization will not put you in a better position vis-a-vis other candidates who are just graduates. So, do not choose your MBA subjects based on their utility for civil services. There is a Management subject which one can choose as one of his optional. So, I would suggest you to have a look at its syllabus. It would give you an idea about the utility of MBA stream for CSE.

    Thanks,

If you are pursuing MBA or going to get admission in MBA then you may choose any specialization subject for MBA because there are so many specialization subjects available in MBA to choose and if you have thought about to get a job through UPSC exam or wants to become an IAS Officer then also there is no problem because you will have to complete study hard and more than required then only you will be able to score good marks but once you should watch these optional subjects available for mains examination and you are allowed to choose anyone subject from this list for two papers of optional in mains examination

    Agriculture
    Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science
    Anthropology
    Botany
    Chemistry
    Civil Engineering
    Commerce and Accountancy
    Economics
    Electrical Engineering
    Geography
    Geology
    History
    Law
    Management
    Mathematics
    Mechanical Engineering
    Medical Science
    Philosophy
    Physics
    Political Science & International Relations
    Psychology
    Public Administration
    Sociology
    Statistics
    Zoology

Now you may choose the specialization subject in MBA and first select anyone subject from this list that are available for mains examination and to score good marks in both papers of optional subjects, you should choose relevant subject in MBA too so you could study in depth for that subject and learn more to qualify both papers easily in mains examination and I would like to suggest you to prefer any one of the following specialization subject in MBA

    MBA in Accounting Management
    MBA in Agribusiness Management
    MBA in Biotechnology
    MBA in Economics
    MBA in International Business Management
MBA in Business Management with E-Business
    MBA in Human Resource Management

If you choose Management as your optional subject then you must choose MBA in International Business Management so you could learn in depth about management during your first and final year of MBA and when you will get good knowledge of Management then you will feel easy to get qualified in both papers of optional subjects

    All the best
