-like civil service exam ,IFoS EXAM WILL be 2 tier examination .
-civil service preliminary test serves as the screening test for both civil service and IFoS
-notification for both the exam (civil service and IFoS will be done simultaneously .the application can be called as combined application form for civil service and IFoS

Minimum age for IFS exam is 21 years for General category.

Maximum age is 30 years.

Age relaxation is given to reserved category students.

Age relaxation;---

3 years age relaxation for OBC category

5 years age relaxation for SC/ST category

10 years for PH candidates

The IFS Examination Consist of Objective Type with Multiple Choice and This Examination is also having Negative Marking System

You should have any one of the like, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science /Botany /Chemistry /Geology /Mathematics /Physics /Statistics /Zoology Etc... in Bachelor degree Course.
