Of course friend you can apply for UPSC exam for the post of IPS, IAS, IRS.

Weak eyes doesn�t matter in this exam.

Civil service exam is the very tough exam and candidates need to work very hard to get success in this exam.

You should also join any good coaching to get guidance in the preparation.

You should also satisfy the criteria for UPSC exam.


Criteria

You must have bachelor degree from valid university.

Age should be between 21 to 30 years

Age relaxation

SC/ST + 5 years

OBC + 3 years

You must be Indian.


You can apply for the CSE through UPSC website www.upsconline.gov.in

UPSC has set physical standards for Indian Police service. The physical standards are important for the job profile and the rigorous training given in the NPA. Vision:
6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good Eye
6/6 0r 6/9 for worst Eye
Near vision J1 for good eye and J2 for worst eye
Correction is by lenses only and by no other means such as LASIK laser eye surgery or keratotomy
High standard for colour-blind test and no inherent night blindness
vision should be steroscopic.
Limits for glasses/spectacles number:
(1) -4.00 D for (including cylinder) -non pathological myopia
(2) +4.00 D (including cylinder) for hypermetropia

Yes You can apply for the upsc civil services

Exam for the post of the Ips

And you should not need to worry too much

As the condition from the upsc department is

the candidate eye sight should be 6/6

With out wearing glasses or with wearing glasses

So you are eligible for the exam

#As for the exam the Candidate must be pass

In Graduation from a recognized University

Or should be pass in any other equivalent degree

#The age required for the exam is 21-30

And the age for the obc category is between 21-33

Also the age limit for the sc,st category is 21-35

#The number of attempts allowed for

The obc is 7 and on the other hand

For the general it is 4 attempts

But to the sc,st their is unlimited attempts are allowed

#The Candidate must be a citizen of India

For IPS Cadre there are some rules are defined for Candidate.

ForIPSCandidate visionn Rules:
