Which stream is best between Arts and Commerce if my ambition is to become an IPS officer?

I GAVE MY SSC EXAM THIS YEAR...after which i gave an apititude test which clearly showed i will excel in medical field...i want to be an IPS officer...but many people have suggested that for becoming an Ips officer ARTS is the best stream..besides i have to prepare my self for upsc CET ....if i take arts then i can never switch fields and if i took science i have 2 years to think to whether continue for science or 2 go for arts...please help i m totally confused

I think you should opt Arts instead of Commerce, if you want to become an IPS.
