there are lot of thing that matter's first one from which college if u want to be a ias in ur life and and ur heart says ''yes i wanna be ias'' then it's okey, if u think ke ias he ban jata hu toh it's not correct so think about it ,if able to crack ias then okey go for it ,it's a very honoured job

doing job is in no respect related to the preparation of IAS. Both are all together different things to do. If you want to become an IAS officer you do not actually need any kind of work experience.

It depends upon you that in which thing you are interested.
If you have done graduation in engineering then you can do jobs in the private sectors.
But if you want to get the Government job then you can go for the IAS exam.
You can prepare for the IAS exam while doing job in any private company.
If you will be selected for the IAS post then you can leave your job.
The eligibilitry for the IAS exam is that you must have a bachelor degree in any of the stream from a recognized university and your age must lies in between 21-30 years.
So in my point of view you should go for the IAS exam.
