More than 3, 00,000 candidates are expected to sit for the CSAT exam every year and out of them only 11,000 candidates will be selected for an appearance in the main exam.
hey there..
Every year lakhs of people apply for the exam.
The number is close to 4-5 lakhs of people... but in actuality only 50% of them sit for the Prelims. which is 2 to 2.5 lakhs...
Out of this the passing percentage is again 30-40 %.
Over all every year there are nearly 900-1000 posts for which 4 lacs of candidates apply.
Thanks!!
