Dear friend
gcse general certificate of secondary education
according to the rules and regulations every individual can appear for the gcse exam whether he/she is a adult or a younger.
It is depend upon the circumstances of the candidate how he/she prepare himself/herself for the preparation for the exam.
If a person have will and strong determination definitely he/she can crack the exam in age of 13 also.
But the preparation way of the candidate also matter.

GCSE exam means The General Certificate of Secondary Education. At the end of the two-year GCSE course, candidates receive a grade for each subject that they have sat. The pass grades, from highest to lowest, are: A* (pronounced 'A-star'), A, B, C, D, E, F and G.
In secondary schools, GCSE courses are taken in a variety of subjects, which are usually decided by the students themselves in Year 9 (age 13-14) Typically though, study of chosen subjects begins at the start of Year 10 (age 14-15)
