Friend you can join the Indian Military Academy through UPSC exam.

UPSC conducts the NDA exam at Higher Secondary Level and CDS exam at graduation level to go in any wings of army.

IMA Stands for Indian Military Academy Examination and it is one of the Academics Under the Combined Defence Service Examination .

Eligibility Criteria for IMA ::

~~ The Student need to completed their three year graduate degree from a recognized University or equivalent qualification .
~~ The Student age limits should be between 19 years and 24 years and there is no relaxation .
~~ Final year candidates OR awaiting the exam results candidates are eligible to apply .
~~ Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible .

Physical Standards ::

~~ Minimum Acceptable height is 157.5 cms with correlated weight .
~~ Chest should be well developed. The minimum range of expansion after full inspiration should be 5 cms.

Physical Conditioning ::

~~ Running : 2 to 4 Km. in 15 minutes.
~~ Pushups & Sit-ups : Minimum 20 each.
~~ Chin ups : Minimum 08.
~~ Rope Climbing : 3 to 4 meters.
