C.D.S Stands for Combined Defence Service Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year.

You can join any of the following Defence Service by Cracking CDS examination:-

• Indian Military Academy (IMA)
• Naval Academy (NA)
• Air force Academy (AFA)
• Officer Training Academy (OTA)

Eligibility Criteria for O.T.A:-

The age should be between 19 years and 25 years and only unmarried male or only unmarried females� candidates are eligible.
The candidate should have a graduate degree from any recognized university or equivalent qualification.
Candidates who are appearing in the final year of degree course can also apply for this examination.


Physical Requirements :

>> You must be in good physical and mental health and free from anydisease
>> The minimum acceptable height for male candidates is 157.5 cms.
>> For Women candidates minimum acceptable height is 152 cms.
>> You should be able to read 6/6 in a distant vision chart with each eyewith or without glasses
>> Myopia should not be more than 3.5D and hypermetropia not more than3.5D including Astigmatism.

first of all prepare for CDSE exmination. and if you done B.tech then there is direct entry for technical student. if you will cleared the CDSE examination then you will be called for SSB interviews which are different kind of interviews from normal interviews. you can also prepare for these. after selection in ssb You will be recommended for OTA
