Is my B.Tech degree (RVD University) valid for UPSC IES exams?

my question is this ? i want to know, the rvd university b-tech degree holder is applicable for appear in ies exam of upsc . i'm confuse ,so plz suggest me . i'ld be thankful to u.

Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University is a deemed University. It is fully affiliated by University Grants Commission i.e. UGC. It is also approved by Distance Educational council i.e. DEC.

In IES examination it is written that the engineering degree should be of a ugc recognized university. Also a deemed and central and state university student can fill the form. So, your university is UGC approved deemed university. So you fill the form of IES exam

you are eligible for the upsc IES exam,

for IES exam candidate must have completed engineering from a recognized university,

as RVD university is approved by UGC so your are fully eligible for the upsc IES exam,

Eligibility criteria for IES exam conducted by upsc:

1. Candidate must have completed engineering from a recognized university .
2. only civil ,mechanical , electrical and eletronics and telecommunication engineers are eligible for the upsc iES exam.
3. candidates who appearing in final year of engineering can also apply for the upsc exams.
4. age limit for the upsc exams is 21 to 30 years.
5. age relaxation of 3 years is given to those candidates who belongs to OBC category .
6. age relaxation of 5 years is given to those candidates who belongs to sc category.
